Cheap Gothic Soap Opera, Part 18

Dangelique exclaimed, "Yes, I am the possessed body of Dr. Langee! When I was hunting down Gornibas is order to prevent him from reverting his vampire curse that I placed on him, I encountered a promising young muskrat named Dr. Langee. He worked in the Hoffman Happy Ward for the Mentally Deformed and Insidious. I inhabited his body so that I could create "Bobby," the swamp monster who reproduces with spore children, like a fern. But Bobby wouldn't listen, he went crazy, so I killed all of his spore children, but one, a perfect creature. In his grief, he destroyed both his last son and me before I could change form, so now I am stuck as the androgynous body of Mr. Langee/Dangelique.

Now he is searching for the dead spore child. But, he still has that burning desire that I implanted in his xylem tubes and stomata-- the need to kill Gornibas. However, this can only happen if he marries Elizabeth. This will allow him to befriend Gornibas and destroy him. But Mrs. Woodson has intervened, she is planning to kill Bobby! So, I hypnotized you in order that I may prevent this murder by murdering Mrs. Woodson!

I also had to kill Dr. Hiffman, who had found out my scheme, by means of the cute mad-kitten. And so lo, lo, ho, ho you see my great scheme, but you shall not live to tell it!"

Just then, s/he lifted her great samuri katana and was about to kill Hyruoeaiold, but a bat flew down the stairs and Gornibas materialized.

"Wait right there, Dr. Hiffman/Dangelique!" he shouted with the fury of a billion mad-kittens,
S/he looked up in horror as Gornibas removed the sacred amulet of Mahalahar, "yes, you had forgotten about this stone, wouldn't you?"
S/he cried, "YOU! I always did hatted you! And now would might pay the price!"
"We have saw about that," said Gornibas, as he repeated the ancient incantation said by the cult members to call Yog-Sothoth from beyond the spheres, "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulha R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn."

At that instant, the stone glowed and Dangelique/Langee screamed and fled out the window.
