Attack of the Neptunian Space Beetles from Space, Part 36

Cindy rubbed her eyes. The Soviet-Beetle-Internal-Revolution-Affairs-Committee-Against-The-Invasion-of-the-Bees-Committee had been in session the whole night, and military tactics didn't really keep her awake. The committee only comprised of her and her three generals: Jugurtha, commander of the non human land and air squadrons, which were the beetles left alive after the Bees' initial attack; the pilot, commander of the soviet air squadrons; and Bobby, commander of the soviet land squadrons. And they were preparing for the most massive offensive of the war.

On that fateful day when the deathly yellow of the Bees had filled the Moscow sky, the Beetles had been decimated, and Cindy had barely made it out alive. To make things worse, the price of grain had risen by a one-thousandth of a ruble, throwing the country farther into chaos. The Soviet government then imploded, before exploding in a supernova of party members, vodka, and illegally smuggled european sports cars. The Bees had then installed their own government, after which they were promptly awarded 3 Nobel Prizes in the field of not being Soviets. The Soviet-Beetle alliance was then designated as terrorists, and when Cindy sent Bobby to the UN to get international support for the fight against the bees, he realized that the entire security council, if not the world was in the hands/legs?/back hairs? of the bees, due to the unusually high number of honey-spiced wine bottles lying on the ground. So it was left up to them to save the world from the bees. The fighting had been in their favor at first, but with each passing month, their casualties mounted, and they were in constant fear of the Bomb. They didn't know where it was or when it was going to get to earth, if it wasn't there already. So they decided to fight one final battle to destroy the Bee's presence on earth before it was too late.

And the Soviet-Beetle alliance went out that day to fight the Bees, only to find that they had all left earth in order to consolidate power for CRusacStalin back at the main hive.
