Sally looked behind her. She was on top of the bottom of the middle of a mountain covered in sleeping jello. Gelatin flakes swirled near by and at the same time as the air, obscuring the rest of her fellow travelers.
Along with Lord Azeroth, she was traveling with three puppies (Rover, entrusted with the carrying of the hyper-cube; Rex, who was quiet and steadfast; and Mitch, who was mischevious and full of laughter) and two Ochklocks (Nalbor, who was the prince of a kingdom on the border of the Platypi's land, and Lipsin, the long lost king - of a kingdom long gone that had been in the same place as the other kingdom was now - come to reluctantly get his throne back). Rover tripped in the jello, and the hyper-cube fell on the ground.
Nalbor wriggled over and picked the cube up with one of his tentacles. "This cube," he smelled with awe, "it has so much power. Why must we destroy it, when we could easily defeat the platypi with it and keep it afterwards for ourselves?" He turned the cube around in his hands, and his eyes shone unhealthily.
"Give it back, Nalbor." Rover had gotten up. "It is not for you to use or keep."
"Rover, you look tired. I'll hold the cube for a while, and you can get some rest."
Rex stepped up to him. "You heard master Rover," he sniffed defiantly, "give the cube back."
"How can you not see what must be done? You puppies are too foolish and simple to truly comprehend the cube's power and magnitude." Nalbor started to put the cube inside his cloak.
"I would not advise that you do that, Nalbor Malerinen." Lipsin had wriggled up to Nalbor and looked him straight in the face.
"What do you know! While my people have fought the platypi for generations, you have been off wandering, going on frivolous adventures. And now you dare to tell me what to do, usurper!"
"I never asked to be king!" Lipsin brought one of his tentacles down to the hilt of his sword. "I have never had any intention of taking the Seat of Ochk away from your father! Yet you forget, your people are my people too. Now, will you give me the cube or shall I take it from you?"
Nalbor saw Lord Azeroth watching him intently. He turned away quickly. "Ah, take your damned cube." He shoved it at Lipsin and started walking up-middlin the mountain.
Lipsin gave the cube to Rover, and Rover quickly stored it deep with in his jacket. "Thank you," he smelled. He shivered a little.
Sally was getting really tired of all of them, and they'd only been questing for 3 hours.
