Now, everyone knows, you can't have a vastly destructive yet unscrutably primitive insectoid alien population without another, larger species that feeds on it... and it was about this time that the Great Hive Mother, buried deep under the surface of Pluto, began to make clicking noises, calling her children out of hibernation.
